Disney Land

We decided for Mark's graduation we should take the kids to Disneyland. It has been four years since we have been on a real vacation so it was very needed. We drove to St. George and stayed the night and then went on to Disneyland. After a 9 hour drive due to traffice we made it.

Day 1
We spent the first day on our trip at Disneyland. Gavin went on two rides and then wanted to go back to the hotel. Then we discovered the "Autopia" ride. He loves cars so this was a huge hit. It rained for 1 hour and then was soooo nice. We did meet Mickey and the kids both were not scared. I thought for sure one would cry, but they did great. The kids and Mark crashed this night at 8:00. I wore them all out. :)



Day 2
GAVIN'S 4th BIRTHDAY
We started the day early to beat the crowd. We rode Buz first and then hit the autopia ride. We then ventured to California Adventure. Gavin was just 40" so he rode the soring ride with me. They checked his height 3 times. We finished off the day with fireworks just for Gavin's Birthday. Brynlee crashed 1/2 way through the fireworks and Gavin almost fell out of the sit and stand so Mark had to carry him back to the motel.


Day 3
Our last day at Disneyland was sad to leave. We only stayed for 1/2 the day and then hit the beach. Gavin is really funny about textures and I was not sure how he would do, but his face tells it all. When we pulled up he said "Oh it is a big sandbox!" We are planning our next vaction around somewhere warm with a beach because the two kids LOVED it. On our way home from the beach the rain just kept coming down. We planned the day perfect.
